EXHIBITION

BICYCLISM, THE EXHIBITION, RUNS FROM 24TH JUNE TO 6TH JULY IN THE ROTUNDA AT LEEDS CITY MUSEUM, AND IS FREE TO THE PUBLIC. A PREVIEW OF THE EXHIBITION OPENS IN THE COMMUNITY GALLERY ON THE FIRST FLOOR FROM THE 2nd JUNE.

the opening night

thursday 26 june, 5pm-7pm - will feature a live band performance of the bicyclism theme music along with a free newspaper-styled publication, featuring selected photographs by casey orr from the exhibition and an essay by boff whalley.

velorama screening

on thursday 3rd july at 5.30pm there'll be a free screening of the film 'velorama'. A century of cycling is honoured in this new documentary comprised of fascinating archive material, directed by award-winning daisy asquith with a soundtrack from musicians bill nelson and chumbawamba. Velorama is part of sheffield doc fest's 'tour de cinema', created for the yorkshire festival.

THE CITY MUSEUM IS ADJACENT TO MILLENNIUM SQUARE IN THE CENTRE OF LEEDS AND IS AN INTERACTIVE, FAMILY-FRIENDLY MUSEUM.
